Jim Lee

Sadly, we received a phone call today from Jean Lee to inform us that her husband Jim passed away last Wednesday (15th January) after a short illness.

Jim & Jean joined the club in 1993 and were regular ralliers, mainly in the north as they lived in Stockport at the time, but they travelled further afield on holiday rallies both at home and abroad. They were always fun to be with on rallies and many ralliers will have happy memories of those times.

They reluctantly had to give up caravanning when Jim had to relinquish his driving licence due to medical issues, and at that point became Honorary Life Members. They then moved to live in Leicester to be near their son. Jim used to enjoy a short walk to the local pub to have a pint with him and Jean was happy to stay at home as her mobility had deteriorated.

Val and I often visited them when in the area. They were a lovely friendly couple and it was always a pleasure to visit them and I know that they really appreciated our visits.

Our thoughts are with Jean, her daughter and all the family at this difficult time.

RIP Jim it was a pleasure to have known you.

Unfortunately, due to several technical issues that the Editor encountered prior to the Rally Book being issued, the file he issued to me for publication here on the website was not as up to date as the version sent to the printers.
If you have previously downloaded the online version of the Rally Book for use on other devices then please delete it and download the updated version which is now on the General Information page.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

Rally No 31 Kings Lynn/Thursford

We will hopefully be reserving 50 raised seating tickets for the Thursford Christmas Spectacular on Friday 10th January for the performance on Saturday 15/11/25.
Rally Bookings are already coming in fast and it is unlikely further tickets will become available later in the year so please let us know as soon as possible if you intend to join us to make sure your tickets are safe. Party Rate tickets are £52 each but we will only require a deposit of £10 per ticket as soon as convenient and payment of the balance in Mid August. Thank you.

Jenne and Keith Essam. Rally Marshals.
