Please note that the first paragraph on Page 17 of Going Places should read:
If you have previously set up and still have a Direct Debit mandate for the SOC Annual Subscription, YOU DO NOT NEED TO TAKE ANY ACTION. If you don’t currently have a mandate set up and would like to use a Direct Debit in the future, this will be possible as part of the renewal process from 1st September.
Please pass on the message to any member friends you know who don’t have access or don’t use this website or the SOC Facebook page.

I was very saddened and shocked to receive the news that longstanding member David Potter of Beverley, Yorks had passed away suddenly on Sunday 2nd June.
Val and I have known David and Mary along with their sons Simon and Edward since they joined the club in 1987. They have always been regular ralliers and also marshalled many excellent rallies over the years. David & Mary recently celebrated their 350th rally on the Tallington Lakes Rally in March.
David will be sadly missed by all who knew him and will always be remembered for his quizzes and his sense of humour.
Our thoughts are with Mary, Simon, Ed and their families at this sad time.

The Unaudited 2023 Year End Accounts along a Profit & Loss Report and Treasurer’s Report, which will be presented at the 2024 AGM, are now online. These will be replaced with Audited a/cs when available. See the General Info page AGM Documents Menu section.

If you are attending the AGM meeting then please remember to show your membership “card” sticker as proof of membership when you are entering.
In most cases you will have stuck it in the front of your Rally Venues Book.
If you have mislaid your proof of membership then please let me know asap so that I can verify your membership before the meeting.
