Editor Role

After much consideration, the club’s Editor Ray Williams has decided that he would like to step down from the role of Editor over the coming year.

Therefore, the club is looking for a volunteer to take over this Officer role to compile the club’s periodical magazines ‘Going Places’ and the annual ‘Rally Book’.

Ray is happy to assist and support the new Editor to ensure a smooth handover and give guidance where necessary.

The Editor’s role does require an aptitude for learning and using a Desk Top Publishing Suite and the necessity to work to strict deadlines.

Updated 2026 Rally Book Now Online

An updated version of the online 2026 Rally Venues Book is now available. The new version covers all the noted amendments to the original one, and a new file has been started to record any future amendments that may come to light.

If you spot any necessary amendments to this copy please advise the Editor and Webmaster so we can keep members up to date via Going Places and the website.

Rally 7: Emerald Celebration Rally & AGM

Please note that the form on page 47 of the rally Book states that you can pay online but the committee agreed earlier in the year not to use PayPal or credit cards for AGM payments.

ONLINE BOOKING FORM for the Emerald Celebration/AGM Rally is now available

This is a quick and simple way to complete your booking form. 

When you book this way you will receive an email showing full details of your booking. You then just need to pay into the club account or send your cheque. 

We would love you to join us on the May Day  Bank Holiday weekend.

Please note that all the Fully Serviced Pitches and Hardstanding pitches are now fully booked. 

There are a limited number of other pitches still available:

2 pitches on grass with gravel for wheels. 

4 pitches on the grass field.

Rally 4: Celebrate with Neil @ Donkey Creek 

You have all been very quick with your bookings today and this rally is now full and a confirmation of acceptance has been sent to all those that have booked. 

A waiting list will be started. 

It is always advisable to go on a waiting list for any rally as often personal circumstances change.

AGM Online Booking Facility

As you are all no doubt preparing to book some of your 2026 rallies, you may want to be booking the AGM rally soon.
In previous years many members have preferred to do their booking for that rally on our website with the Online Facility which has been available for several years exclusively for the AGM Rally.
You will be able to book online again for this year, but it won’t be available for a few more days yet due to some technical issues coupled with the need to complete many other important updates.
It will be announced here and on the website once it is available. Apologies for any inconvenience.
