As we have not been rallying in this last year it has been difficult for the Committee to maintain close contact with Members and hear their views on what the membership like and expect from a club like ours in the future.
The Committee need your ideas and to help collect them we have created a Members’ Suggestions Box – a simple online form where you can feed any ideas on various topics to the Committee for consideration. The SOC Rules and Advice for Covid 19 has been updated due to easing of government restrictions on 17th May. A new document has been produced comprising the April update and a Help Sheet containing additional guidance following the current easing of government restrictions.

To qualify for entry to any of the competitions a member must attend the rally for at least one night.
Please note that this Rally will now extend over Bank Holiday Weekend until Tuesday 1st June. Please see Latest Rally News section.
The Club Rules & Advice for Covid-19 document has been updated by the Committee (April 2021). This now supersedes the copy printed in the 2021 Rally Book.
The changes are in the ‘On Site’ section and relate to the use of water taps and the wearing of face coverings when using service points.
There are links to the updated document on the Members’ Home Page, the General Information Page and in the menu of Information for Rally Marshals.

As the Spring Going Places was put out a month later than usual I am proposing to publish the Summer edition at the beginning of July rather than June. As we are now rallying it will give time for people to get rally reports to me so that we all have something to read.
