Members Retiring from Caravanning

After much deliberation It is with sadness and regret that we have decided our caravanning days are over. Through the SOC, we have met  many lovely people and have made wonderful friends. Because of rallies, we have been to places that otherwise we most likely would never have visited – both in the UK and abroad. Our grateful thanks go to all those who, in some way or another, have contributed in providing us with so much pleasure over the years We certainly cannot complain that we are lacking  in memories. However, we hope that those memories will not be the last connected with the SOC because, in one way or another, we hope to keep in touch with many of you. Thank you all for helping to give us  wonderful and exciting lives so far.

Because of this decision we now have a caravan surplus to requirements. Should anyone, or anyone you know be interested in a 2016 Challenger 565 we would welcome enquiries on 01582 592616 or bsh.34wychwood@ntlworld.com.

Members Retiring from Rallying

Aileen and Chris Brice along with their family have taken the decision due to failing health they will no longer be able to rally.

They have been with the SOC since 2006 and living in Beverley Yorkshire were keen ralliers in area 2 along with George, their dog George. I am sure many will remember them fondly and we send them our very best wishes from the Swift family.

URGENT Message from the Committee

Dear member,

As of the 31st of May, the Treasurer unfortunately will be standing down for personal reasons.

Under our constitution, we are unable to continue as Club without a treasurer. Therefore, we urgently require someone to cover the post. If you are able to help, please contact the Hon Secretary Val Metcalf on 07766654037 or email secretary@swift-owners-club.com

Members’ Suggestion Box

As we have not been rallying in this last year it has been difficult for the Committee to maintain close contact with Members and hear their views on what the membership like and expect from a club like ours in the future.

The Committee need your ideas and to help collect them we have created a Members’ Suggestions Box – a simple online form where you can feed any ideas on various topics to the Committee for consideration. You will find a link to the form and an introduction from the Committee on this page below the Latest Rally News Section.
